we designed & built a Custom Home for a wonderful family. In 2013, a tornado tore through the area, leaving
a path of destruction. Thankfully, everyone was safe, but homes along the street were not so lucky.
Some were completely destroyed. Our home stood, but not without extensive damage from the horrific storm. The tornado
came through on a Friday night, and they quickly called us. On Saturday, Jim Buehrig was on-site with the owners, starting
on a plan to help get their home back together, and their lives back to normal.

Homebuilders are truly honored by this show of faith and confidence, over a decade after our original work on their home.
Although this is one of the most unique scenarios we have encountered, the relationship we established is not unique.
Not only
did we fully restore their beautiful custom home, inside and out, but we used this period of upheaval to upgrade their
home in order to better accommodate the growth of their family. We built a full addition, upgraded kitchen, lower
level wine cellar, and more. Below are some pictures of the home. Can you tell it was nearly destroyed only months earlier?

We are thankful every day for the
opportunity to work on beautiful custom homes of all styles and sizes. We are appreciative of our many customers, and
lucky to have such wonderful co-workers. Most of all, in regards to the above project, we are thankful for the safety
of their family, and the true blessing that there were no fatalities across the area, during the catastrophic tornadoes that
night. Homes can be rebuilt, but lives...and family...and friendships are a true gift. ---The staff of Gateway
